Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche has announced the launch of the fully custom 43.1m/141.4ft luxury expedition yacht ACALA.

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the exterior appearance by Horacio Bozzo Design is timeless, with wooden balustrades adding a classic touch to the on-trend white hull with a raked bow. The naval architecture from Hydro Tec is designed for extended journeys providing excellent stability and comfort even in rough conditions, and the outdoor amenities provide plenty of luxuries. There is a swimming pool on the main deck aft as well as up, on the sundeck, and sunbeds, a bar and alfresco dining and lounging areas that let guests enjoy life’s little pleasures in tranquil anchorages.

The interiors from Mexican architect Simon Hamui are refined yet have a laid-back atmosphere that is suited as much to everyday living as spectacular parties in glamorous locations such as Monaco and Cannes. The unconventional layout places the galley on the lower deck and uses a dumbwaiter to serve all decks above, including the sun deck. The sky lounge also incorporates the formal dining area and is significantly larger than the main salon.

Up to 12 guests are accommodated over 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 3 VIP staterooms and 2 twin cabins. The Master and VIPs are all located on the main deck forward, while the two twin cabins are on the lower deck. There are also 5 crew cabins on the lower deck to sleep 10, and the Captain’s cabin is on the upper deck behind the helm station.
