Motor yacht CETACEA

Built by Feadship in the late 60s and refitted extensively in 2014, 40.2m/132.1ft motor yacht CETACEA has kept all of her traditional charms while updating her for 21st Century appeal.

The wooden panelling within is complemented by traditional and neo-classical elements, creating a timeless appearance perfect for Christmas celebrations. The sumptuous sofas and air-conditioned surroundings make a comfortable environment to start the day or end with conversation over drinks.

The formal dining area aft combines the best of indoor and outdoor living, providing an abundance of light while offering a sheltered environment. The upper deck has a similar sheltered setting for guests to enjoy the views day and night, while the aft section provides a minibar and barbeque grill and plenty of sun loungers to sit back after a meal and take in the beautiful sights of the US Virgin Islands, the white cliffs of Long Island or the tranquil lagoon at the Bight of Acklins.

When the tenders are cleared from the deck there is plenty of room for hosting an event on board to watch the New Year fireworks over the harbour at St. Barths or similar locations throughout the Caribbean.

There is a great selection of high-quality water toys on board, and fishing enthusiasts will be particularly pleased with the deep-sea equipment and gear for bonefishing in the shallows. The rest of the collection consists of:

  • 3 x inflatable paddleboards, and
  • snorkelling equipment

2 x jet skis and 2 x Seabobs are available upon request, and throughout the cruise, guests have access to free weights and yoga equipment to maintain a fitness regime in the evening and while cruising.

The accommodation sleeps a total of 8 guests over 4 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom and 2 twin cabins. The Master suite is particularly desirable, making use of the full beam on the lower deck to offer a spacious environment furnished with a king-sized bed. The en-suite bathroom has a shower with a bench that also functions as a sauna. All cabins are finished to the highest standards and have the same traditional style as the shared guest areas.

Everyone onboard is served by an experienced crew of 7, who will take care of every detail along the way.
