New photos showcasing the interior and exterior areas of the brand-new 60m Amels yacht ENTOURAGE have been released! This stunning superyacht with striking exterior lines by Espen Oeino International, Damen Yachting naval architecture and beautiful interiors by Burdifilek studio is one of the latest to come out of the Dutch shipyard and was delivered to her proud owner in early 2023.
For Burdifilek, this was their first superyacht project. The owner envisioned a tranquil and elegant home at the sea which, judging by the photos, was beautifully executed. The studio commented: “The Owner knew exactly how he wanted to entertain and how he wanted the flow through the spaces to be. When the sun sets, the yacht transforms, shifting from day to night, evoking a completely different feeling,” says Diego Burdi, Burdifilek’s co-founder. “This unique opportunity led us on a journey of exploration where every design aspect of the yacht was considered at the highest level. Conceived as a floating oasis of luxury, the interiors are a playground of timeless elegance, ultimate comfort with a sense of peace conveyed through a monochromatic palette,” adds Diego Burdi, whose portfolio includes the W Hotel, New York’s Club Monaco and some of the world’s most dynamic commercial environments.
One of the other highlights on board is the accommodation layout, which includes a large Owner Deck with a fold-out balcony, a seating saloon area, two bathrooms and an adjacent twin cabin. There are additional four guest suites located on the lower deck, hosting up to 12 guests in total. There is further accommodation for the crew of 13 with a modified crew area, a larger laundry room and dry storage.
To develop a more eye-catching passage, Burdifilek also reversed the structure of the staircase: “I think the staircase is beautiful and very innovative,” says Arie Midavaine, Project Manager at Damen Yachting. “The structure is on the outside and tucked away – which is substantially different than previous models and gives much more space to move around. The ceilings are also beautiful and are free of domes – a feature that the Owner brought in from this experience in real estate.”
The spacious sun deck is perhaps one of the most relaxing areas on board. Longer by 1.5m it contains a beautiful Jacuzzi pool surrounded by sunpads, an exterior bar, a barbecue, an L-shaped lounging area and a lovely dining area. The sun awning poles have been moved to the outside of the railing, to allow for additional space.
Additional lounging and dining areas are located throughout the yachts, including the main saloon, bridge deck saloon or swim platform.
Espen Oeino also commented on the design process: “It’s an extremely well-optimised design. Together with the Amels team, we invested a lot of time fine-tuning the Amels 60 design, really looking back at the Limited Editions past, and talking to clients. She looks beautiful.”
Further spaces include the foredeck where the two tenders and two wave runners are stored, with more toys such as SeaBobs, wakeboards and diving equipment being stored in the beach club area aft. Sauna, day head and gym are also found in the beach club for more fun and relaxation on board this magnificent vessel – Entourage!
