Dutch shipyard Vitters has launched its 56m/184ft luxury sailing yacht ALEA, known during construction as PROJECT 3083.

The vessel was towed from the shipyard facilities in Zwartsluis to Harlingen, where she is better positioned to head out into the North Sea for her sea trials ahead of delivery.

The exterior styling encompasses a sleek dark hull with an inverse bow and low coach roof for a modern, athletic appearance from Mani Frers. The interiors by M2Atelier cover a lounge and formal dining area in addition to five guest staterooms, a Master Suite and a crew area. The aforementioned guest accommodation is placed in the stern, while the Master suite is in the bow for greater privacy. Other features include an aft deck beach club and two large tender garages aboard this 320 GT vessel.

At 56m/184ft, sailing yacht ALEA is currently the second largest sailing yacht produced by Vitters (66m/217ft sailing yacht ANATTA being the first largest), however, S/Y ALEA is set to slip down to a third place, with the launch of 59m/ PROJECT 3090, which is due for launch in 2023.

The 52m/171ft motor yacht known as CRN 142 during construction has been launched and christened luxury yacht CIAO in a private ceremony held at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy. 

The private ceremony was attended by the Owner, senior management and CRN employees as well as their families. M/Y CIAO is constructed with an aluminium hull and superstructure, with exterior styling by Omega Architects and interiors from Massari Design.

The alfresco living areas include sunbathing and lounging areas accompanied by a spa pool on the sundeck and main deck aft, while the upper deck is the hub for alfresco dining in style.

This full-custom four-deck superyacht has full-height windows on the main deck and upper deck for panoramic views from within, and a beam of 9m/29.6ft and a volume of 499 GT to create spacious social areas in the main salon and skylounge.

The guest accommodation is comprised of 5 en-suite cabins to sleep 10 guests: 1 main deck Master suite, and 4 well-proportioned VIP staterooms on the lower deck.

Italian shipyard Codecasa has announced the successful launch of its latest CODECASA 43 model, luxury yacht BOJI, known as HULL F77 during construction.

The launch took place on the 19th of May 2022 at 11 am in Viareggio, celebrated with a private ceremony attended by the Owner and family as well as the teams that contributed to the successful creation of this superyacht.

M/Y BOJI is a full-custom displacement yacht constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, designed by the Codecasa in-house team. She measures 43m/141ft and features large windows and a vertical bow, which combined with the twin Caterpillar 3512C engines provide a top speed of 16.5 knots, a cruising speed of 11 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles.

The accommodation sleeps 10 guests in 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins, one of which has an additional Pullman berth. A crew of 9 will ensure that everything runs at peak efficiency on every cruise.

M/Y BOJI will now undergo sea trials ahead of her delivery scheduled for summer 2022.

Next Yacht Group, part of Italian shipyard Maiora Yachts, has announced the successful delivery of luxury charter yacht EDEN, a Maiora 30 ‘Walkaround’ model.

Italian shipyard CRN has announced the successful delivery of 62m/203ft luxury charter yacht RIO, which has now left the Ancona shipyard to cruise the Mediterranean on her maiden voyage.

M/Y RIO has a clean and crisp appearance produced by a white steel hull and matching aluminium superstructure. A plumb bow and strong horizontal lines along the decks are complemented by minimal curves to give an athletic appearance.

The exterior styling comes courtesy of Omega Architects, while Pulina Exclusive Interiors produced the living spaces inside.

The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite on the Owner’s deck, 2 full-beam VIP staterooms and 3 further guest cabins.
