March 27, 2023, saw the striking NB69 motor yacht INFINITE JEST successfully launched and Turquoise Yachts was proud to share this news. With the newly completed 53m Jewels, Turquoise now has six yachts under construction, including the 87m Vento and the following yacht in line, the 79m Toro.

Following the sea trials, delivery of this fascinating new yacht, with exterior styling by Vallicelli Yacht Design, is anticipated for the second quarter of 2023. Turquoise is also thrilled to be working with interior designer Sinot for the first time to make NB69’s living area a vibrant experience all on its own. An exquisite equilibrium is achieved between the superstructure’s and the hull’s styling, which combines strong, dynamic lines with simple, sleek lines.

The front canopies and the bulwarks that enclose the side decks are especially clear examples of this in terms of geometry. The sheer-line best exemplifies the originality of the design, which plays on aesthetically pleasing contrasts between soft and rigid elements such as the narrow line that begins in the bow region and becomes a concave curve at the boat’s centre before sloping down toward the aft. The low angle of the transom slope and the extremely long forward overhang give this 75-meter yacht a profile that is evocative of sporty cruising while supporting the large internal volume.

The yacht has an exceptionally large full-beam beach club with opening shell doors on either side that expand into extended platforms to the sea in addition to opening aft to the swimming platform. A full-length 10.2 m limousine tender, a multi-purpose guest tender, a rescue/crew tender, and several jet skis can all be accessed from the central tender storage through a huge shell door.

INFINITE JEST offers accommodation in one spacious owner’s suite with a private deck and office, five guest cabins and one VIP suite. Her crew accommodation includes the Captain’s cabin, ten double crew cabins and one convertible hospital. She is powered by two Caterpillar 3516C B-rating engines of 2575 BHP each (1920kW).

Sailing yacht AQUARIUS II (65m/213ft) started life upside down – a yacht building technique which makes it easier to construct the hull. Once this phase is complete, a shipyard turns the hull so the deck is upright and construction and fit out can continue.

As AQUARIUS II reached this milestone her designers have been reflecting on some of the design decisions and the progression from AQUARIUS I – from the same owner.

Godfrey Cray, the project manager commented on the objectives for the new AQUARIUS:

“In general, by going from 56m (184ft) to 65m (212ft) overall length, we have gained close to 45% more volume, gained a 4th guest cabin, increase the size of the gym as well as the social areas of the main deck house plus crew area improvements.

There has been an extensive study to enhance performance. We have had winning racing results with AQI and the objective has been to continue learning and add this experience to the development of AQII”

The owners have again worked with Dykstra Naval Architects and Mark Whitely Design on the interior layout and décor as they loved the modern classic looks, balance and sailing performance of AQI.

AQUARIUS II will feature Royal Huisman’s industry-leading hybrid technologies for power generation and management. The benefits include ‘peak-shaving’ for optimum energy efficiency and flexible power generation.

AQUARIUS II is scheduled for delivery in 2024.

Recently renamed 63m (206′ 8″) mega yacht SOUNDWAVE, previously 11.11, was the recipient of a 2016 World Superyacht Award after her launch in 2015 and remains a stunning example of a custom Benetti yacht featuring innovative Art-Deco interiors created by the original owners.

Her unique bluff-bow – one of only a few produced by Benetti to date – creates a fabulous first impression and a gives a taste of the superior deck spaces across her three levels. 44m (144’4”) sailing yacht NORTH WIND is due for completion within the next couple of months, when she will set sail around Turkey offering luxury charters for up to ten guests in five suites.

She is being built by Sokmen Kardesler, with naval architecture from Fatma Kisar Viking yacht Design and interior design by Mean Design Istanbul. The team have created a stylish yacht to a flybridge design, which offers a sun deck and huge extendable aft deck. When the large transom door is opened the area becomes a spacious beach club from where guests can enjoy the thrill of the water toys which include a jetski, various fun towables, paddleboards and an e-foils.

The contemporary interior still has a warm and welcoming atmosphere provided by the dark wood floor, leather and rich fabrics complemented by the natural light which floods in through the wide windows on each side. The five accommodation suites feature comfortable beds, clever storage and well-appointed ensuite bathrooms with marble finishes and matt black tapware.

Eight crew will ensure that a vacation on board luxury yacht NORTH WIND leaves guests with wonderful lasting memories of their time cruising the clear blue waters around Turkey.

Refitted and relaunched in 2023, impressive 60m (196’10”) CMN super yacht O’EVA features a bespoke Whisper Grey hull set off by a gleaming Matterhorn White superstructure.

Her stunning sun deck is an entertainer’s paradise and is home to an amazing 360° view jacuzzi, bar and BBQ, plus huge dining table and sofa / sunbed arrangement. Luxury super yacht ALCHEMY is based on the Vitruvius Lifestyle yacht design and at 65.7m (215’5”) was conceived entirely remotely by the team at Rossinavi and Philippe Briand at Vitruvius Yachts, back in December 2019.

The owners have a wealth of yachting experienced having regularly chartered yachts over a twenty year period. Having chosen Enrico Gobbi from Team for Design as the interior designer, the owners carefully considered every detail.

She presents with a slim profile, impressive interior volume and blend of teak, stone and steel detailing. Her bespoke interior furnishings include a one of a kind oversized sofa in the salon which grounds the elegant calm décor in a palette of muted beige and ivory tones. Her exterior deck spaces are all about enhancing guests appreciation of the great outdoors and offers them a wonderful water’s edge beach club, wellness and massage room and generous garage large enough to store a huge collection of water toys and bikes.

Propulsion is delivered by a diesel electric system which minimises energy loss and significantly reduces carbon emissions.

As her name suggests luxury yacht ALCHEMY is a magical creation born from the combined skills of her design team and discerning owner.

This week, 67.4m (221’1″) mega yacht PROJECT 823 left the Feadship construction shed for the first time and has been showing off her chiselled contours and muscular reverse sheer bow before her final outfitting.

Jan Schaffers from the design team at Studio De Voogt commented at the launch, “The main theme of the yacht is strength”, a theme also explored by the architects at Azure Naval Architecture. Designed and built for an experienced owner, the layout has been tailored to their specific needs and provides accommodation for up to ten guests in one main deck master, one bridge deck VIP and three lower deck cabins.

The focal point for life on board is the sociable sun deck which offers a sheltered central zone with glass windbreak and hard roof. Other highlights include an elevator calling at all levels, a wellness centre and gym on the lower deck plus generous crew quarters and service areas to allow discrete and attentive service.

The design for the interiors combines natural tones, light wood veneers and organic shapes to create a tasteful and sophisticated atmosphere. Once mega yacht PROJECT 823‘s outfitting is complete later this year, she will commence sea trials before being delivered to her owner.

Motor yacht IMPULSIVE measures 40.20m (131′ 11″) and cuts a stylish figure through the water with her elongated bow and designer interiors by Luca Dini and Frederic Mechiche. She can accommodate up to ten guests in five suites who will be looked after during their charter by eight professional crew members.

Al fresco dining, lounge seating, sunpads and a deluxe jacuzzi are all on offer across her two deck levels and for those who enjoy an action packed holiday, the choice of water toys is amazing including jet skis, slide, paddle boards and plenty of towables.

As the sun sets guests can enjoy a leisurely al fresco dinner before sitting back and taking in movie under the stars on the bridge deck.
